ACORN are running a volunteering scheme, partnering at-risk people with those who are healthy and want to help. You can sign up to volunteer or donate at If you need help you can also contact them.
Bristol City Council is putting into place a system in partnership with Can Do Bristol and Quartet to help volunteer and raise funds. They will update with volunteering opportunities where help is needed.
North Bristol Foodbank are looking for extra volunteers to help with sorting food in Southmead. Collection points for food donations include St Alban’s Church in Westbury Park and Cairns Road Baptist Church, BS6. See:
FareShare South West are planning emergency action to get food on a large scale to the most vulnerable in Bristol - from the isolated elderly, to families living on the breadline, to homeless people facing closure of all support services.
They are in urgent need of support from low risk volunteers (ideally aged 20-40, in good health and no Covid-19 symptoms), donations to provide an emergency food supply, connections to local food companies.

North View area
Caffe Arabica has been selling takeaways, and  coffee (Mon-Sat, 9am – 5pm).
Little French is selling food boxes (meat £60, fish £40, pies £18) and eggs, etc. 0117 970 6276.

Coldharbour Road area
Lavender is open for takeaways (Mon – Sat, 9am to 3pm) 0117 330 9074, plus online shop for all sorts of deli food
Split Tin Bakery open (Mon – Sat) for baked goods which can be heated up, including savouries like pasties, quiches and samosas 0117 942 2764.
Henleaze area
Kondi Brasserie, 105 Henleaze Road will be operating a takeaway and delivery service from 10am to 6pm Monday-Saturday. Any payment method is accepted, especially a card payment over the phone or BACS.
Westbury Inks, 68 Northumbria Drive are offering a delivery service to anyone that has been told to isolate or is self-isolating, or if anyone is now working from home. They can deliver in any area of Bristol for free if the order is over £20. If the order is below £20, a £2.50 delivery charge applies.
Henleaze Garden Shop will be running a delivery-only service Monday to Saturday. To arrange a delivery call 0117 962 0418 between 9am and 11am. They will only be taking payment by card over the phone. is a
