£4.25m win on Lottery
BRISTOL's derelict magistrates courts on Bridewell Street are closer to becoming a Creative Enterprise Hub for young people.
The charity Creative Youth Network has secured £4.25m from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to transform the building.
Chief executive Sandy Hore-Ruthven said: “This money gets us a huge step forward, but we still need to raise a further £1 million in order to make this project happen.
“Anyone able to help us on this final leg of the journey should get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.”
The courts will support young people from diverse backgrounds to access the creative industries through enterprise workshops, mentoring, incubator space and paid internships.
